The Lysaght Watt Gallery is at an exciting stage of it's journey - currently situated in an airy, renovated retail space on Union Street by the Hāwera Town Square, in the future it will move into a purpose built gallery in Te Ramanui ō Ruapūtahanga in the centre of the main street. The new building is an $8 million dollar facility and will be home to the Hāwera Library Plus, i-SITE, café, meeting rooms and the Lysaght Watt Gallery. It is hoped to be officially opened by the end of 2022.
With this new development occurring, now is an ideal time to become involved and share the excitement. Click one of the boxes below to find out more.
