It's A Family Affair | Morris & Tullet Exhibition 7 September - 1 November 2025 Opening Event at Lysaght Watt Gallery

Get ready to be amazed! Four talented family members from the Morris and Tullet families have come together to create an incredible art exhibition that showcases stunning original pieces. This vibrant collection features everything from bronze sculpting and printmaking to painting, mixed media, and exquisite jewellery making.

Meet Sarah Tullet, a passionate jewelry artist who has been crafting stunning pieces for six years using silver, copper, shell, and even a touch of gold. Her incredible work was proudly displayed at the Riversdale Arts 50th Exhibition in 2023, and she also wowed audiences at the Homework Exhibition at Puke Ariki and the Taranaki National Art Awards in 2024.

John Tullet, Sarah's talented brother, is a bronze sculptor extraordinaire, known for his exquisite bowls. At a Christchurch art school, he discovered an exhilarating passion for the bronze casting processes, and now his incredible creations proudly reside in private collections across New Zealand, Australia, North America, and Europe!

Wayne Morris, Sarah's creative husband, discovered his passion for art during his childhood adventures where he collected treasures at a nearby dump to transform into art. He made his debut in 1981 as a founding member of TACO (Taranaki Artists Cooperative), dazzling audiences with artworks crafted from recycled materials.

And let's not forget Stu Morris, the dynamic painter and printmaker! Stu, the talented son of Sarah and Wayne, and John's nephew, is also a skilled tattoo artist who has recently returned to New Plymouth. His expressionist style is a thrilling exploration of personal life, human connections with nature, abstract forms, and animal motifs inspired by his tattoo creations. During the past five years in Wellington, he captivated audiences with numerous group and solo exhibitions.

Prepare to be amazed by their collective creativity and passion!
