For those attending the closing karakia on Saturday 12 July 2025 at 12 noon, you are welcome to collect your loved one's leaf from the gallery to keep, to remember and reflect on their contribution to your life and to our communities. Alternatively you can collect your leaf any time on Friday or Saturday morning if you are unable to attend the closing of the exhibition. The recent opening of our current exhibition, Maumahara, was hugely successful. Maumahara enables the public to remember their loved ones and reflect on their passing. By taking a kawakawa, writing the details of their passing and replacing the leaf, we contribute to the celebration of Puanga - a time to remember and reflect.
