The recent opening of our current exhibition, Maumahara, was hugely successful.
Maumahara enables the public to remember their loved ones and reflect on their passing. By taking a kawakawa, writing the details of their passing and replacing the leaf, we contribute to the celebration of Puanga - a time to remember and reflect.
The Lysaght Watt gallery has, for a number of years, celebrated Puanga in collaboration with Toi o Taranaki Ki Te Tonga.
This year we will have a time of reflection followed by an exhibition of works by Maori artists.
